I'm using Max to generate midi notes and Rewire them to my DAW Reaper. The VST synth FM8 turns these notes into audio.

I want to know if it's possible to change FM8's parameters in Reaper, from within Max through Rewire? Is this at all possible?

The reason I am asking is because I am sending pitchbend messages, created with the line object from Max to the FM8 synth in Reaper (through the midiformat>midiout objects). This so I can glide the pitchbend.

After 30 seconds Reaper stops receiving data and I have to restart the program. Disabling pitchbend cures my problem, so I believe the continues flow of data between the Max' pitchbend and Reaper is too much to handle when using MIDI? Even using the speedlimit object only delays the problem. . .
