Controlling Volume in Live with Max
Hi I am currently trying to contol the volume of a track in Live with MAX. I followed a great turorial posted by Ableton which gave me this example.
However I believe there is an issue with the "set value $1" part as when I do it the slider still goes between 1-127 and in the consol I am getting a live.object error message saying Invalid value. Check param.
If any one could help me with this or guide me in the right direction that would be greatly appricated.
Try inserting [scale 0 127 0. 1.] after the slider.
Thanks for the reply this does let me scale the values which is good but still cant get this controlling to Live. Does anyone know why this might be?
It's now telling me live.object - does understand "float"
Try the center outlet of live.path.
That still gives me a live.object error message saying Invalid value.
Perhaps someone else could try my code and see where I might have gone wrong.
On the fader check Float Output and set the range to 1.
