Customizing worldbox using jit.gl.material to make my environment look nicer?

Hello,

i am new to jitter, and have been following the tutorials by cycling 74 on youtube, namely this one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bArs9nnvGCw&list=PL96110202D5F10590

In the video, he starts by creating a 6-sided worldbox for the objects in the pwindow.

My first question is how do you use jit.gl.material to customize the interior 6 walls for colour, shading etc. etc?

I am sorry if that sounds ambiguous, maybe check out the first 30 seconds of the video to see what i am referring to?

thanks

Will

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

You can use a jit.gl.gridshape @shape cube or opencube, resize it to the size of your jit.phys.world, and then apply the material to it.
You may also want to move the light source inside the cube (which I didn't in this patch).
