Hi, sorry newbie question.
I see that Cyclops already discontinued (not available to purchase).
Tell me please, if i own MAX7, but no have Cyclops package, i will be have all of its features (related with analyze video\image input, video tracking) ?
(Ie A new version eliminates the need for his package presence?)

Ok, I will ask the question a little differently - I need to video events (pixels from some image or from video) generated (or react to) MIDI events, for example.
This is something that (as I understand it) was available with Cyclops addon.
Is it possible to do in MAX7 ?
And how easy it would be to do ? (without Cyclops).

For this sort of thing, I would endorse using cv.jit. It should provide everything you need for camera-based interaction. Check http://www.maxology.club/ for some info about getting started with it.

Thanks for link, but i mean not (or not only) camera-based purposes. As i told, need work directly with image\video files.

Besides that, it's desirable to get answer which would focused on "Cyclops" capabilities, ie that a person (who was familiar with Cyclops capabilities) told me that I definitely could get the same things using only standard MAX7 tools (without deep dig into programming).
Otherwise, I do not understand why Cyclops removed from sale.

It sounds like the Jitter objects are what you are looking for. Maybe start by looking at jit.movie or jit.playlist and go from there?

Well, perhaps you right, i dont know yet :D
But thanks for response Andrew, or the desire to help. In the absence of other information, I will use what is.
It's a pity i see that here enough small activity.
(Honestly, I even barely found the forum (via google), on the site I did not see a reference to it.)
