I am working an a M4L midi device that sends some of its MIDI data to other MIDI devices. 

Unfortunately, there are dropped messages which renders the device very unstable. 

I have tried both Forward-receive and UDP methods with no difference in the results. 

Is there any other way of sending data from one device to another?

Nothing yet. On top of that "forward receive" drops the connection after a while and doesn't send anything at all. The issue occurs completely randomly.

Maybe I am wrong but I think I had less drops when sending data by UDP from Max to Live than from M4L to Live.

If you have a Max licence, maybe you can try to do your stuff in the Max app (totally out of Live) and send it to your live devices...
