I'm using a mc.out~ inside a mcs.poly~, with the number of channels of mc.out~ set to 96 ("@chans 96"). Unfortunately "mc.out~" seems to max out the number of channels at 64.

What I'm trying to do is to create a signal spatialized over 96 loudspeaker channels every time i initiate it inside a poly~ object.

Update: I contacted support at Cycling74, and they said that currently, the limit is 64 channels for mc.out~

I made a feature request to increase this limit. Hopefully this will be implemented some time in the future.
