So , I'm a bit confused. I would like to have a closer look at the file moogLadderFilter.genexpr which is "required" by gen~ in the example gen~.moogladder. But I cannot find a way to open it in Max. The Docs say that I can open .genexpr files in Max's text editor, but I'm not clear what Max's text editor is exactly? I can look at .genexpr code as it is compiled in the sidebar of a gen window but I can't see any options to open a .genexpr file, or to save as a .genexpr file. Please help!

I searched for the file in max's file browser and found it no problem, but i did get an error saying it was not a file type max could open (potential bug?). So i just revealed the file in my OS and opened it with TextEdit (Mac), and here it is as a .txt

I realised I can use "open as text" from file menu, and save from file menu.
