i always embed my patcher snapshots to be extra safe and not build up clutter, but i noticed that max's snapshot folders still has 1000s snapshots in it, so i made a test:

it appears in the snapshot folder (i though: clear, because when i made it, it was still not embedded)

so i deleted it from the folder, and tested if snapshot recall still works, and yes it does.

i changed some params in the patch and "re-snapshot" the snapshot from the menu.

surprisingly even tho the snapshot is embedded it still gets saved again to the snapshot folder.

How to use snapshots without cluttering the snapshot folder?
