I am having trouble connecting the entecc dmx usb pro. It seems to work fine with other software but I can't quite figure out what I am missing with the max 7 setup...

- the Enttec DMX USB Pro uses a serial connection via USB. Meaning that it can only be accessed by one application at a time. Did you check that all other applications possibly using it are closed (and that they closed the serial port).

- Are you using the Enttec DMX USB Pro MkI (the one with the metal casing and without MIDI Port)? They usually still ship with very old firmware. Try upgrading the firmware....

Have you selected the device in the pop up menu connected to the third outlet of the dmxusbpro object? Sometimes happens to me that I forget to select it......
