Expand height (like Spectrum)
Hi,
wondering whether there's a way to fool Live into letting an M4L device expand upward in the way Spectrum or Wavetable does? I don't like floating windows, but I also admit the need to have more UI exposed than the fixed height chain allows for. Thanks!
Cheers & blessings,

I'm currently exploring this ,too. Actually, I just wanted to place some buttons into the device header but it's not limited to that. Although, I'm not sure if it looks good if devices cover parts of the main view.

There are some problems I'm trying to solve before I share this for testing. For example If the Live Zoom is changed the zoomfactor and size of the extension patcher need to adapt to it...
@11olsen -that's very promising! I agree that it's not optimal to cover parts of the main view (wish it was possible to actually collapse the main view upward as occurs when Spectrum expands...*sigh*) but I look forward to updates as you move closer to sharing (o:
thanks!
this is groundbreaking. any updates on that? I was wondering about docking and repositioning popup windows with javascript and using like a dummy eq8 to create the expanded space for the max window to slot into.
using lom we know what views are open, though we dont know how big they are, so im not sure we could track for example the height of the expanded view while resizing and have the max popup window respond.
