Exporting 3D animation from Jitter to Blender
Hi everyone, please go easy - this is my first time...
I have been playing around with a patch that generates a responsive 3D mesh from the webcam on my laptop via jit.matrix and jit.gl.mesh. It is super cool.
What I would like to do is record and export a 3D animation i.e. OBJ or FBX file and then bring it into a 3D Blender environment.
I know my options for just recording jit.window... I need to know my options, if there are any, for exporting 3D animation information from Jitter.
Thank you for your time
I never tried with animation, but for exporting static geometry I used the javascript code posted in the following thread: https://cycling74.com/forums/export-3d-model-from-jitter-gl-import-nurbs
Raja - You are right - it is mesh deformation. I did think it would be a long shot. In hindsight I should have said 3D asset, not animation information, but I think the limitations are the same.
Pedro - I'll give it a go.
Thanks for being easy on me team.
Stay safe.
