feature request: mc.sfrecord~ with metadata

With increasing track count, correct track mapping across varying platforms can get very tedious.
Adding bwav format to file options, with editable iXML chunks, would greatly help in avoiding performance setup errors.
There is a iXML option in ircam's spat5.sfrecord~ external, although for a different purpose. But proves that it can be done.
Since introduction of the mc family, I believe that such an option should really be part of vanilla Max MSP.
How about it?
