first argument of defer()

    I was pretty sure that at some point I was told by someone from C74 that the first argument to defer() doesn't need to be a t_object, as it is just a pointer that is passed to the callee. Is that still true? Was it ever true??
    Thanks! aa

      Hi Andrea... This is is certainly *not* true.
      Looking at the source history it looks like it *may* have been true in Max 3 or 4?
