I followed the Geometric Dreams Tutorial and it works great, except animating the interpol8r with the p "turn amplitude into VIZZIE data".

Debugging this a little, it looks like peak amp~ is not outputting any values.

I noticed the same problem. The "Fractastic Sounds" tutorial is also broken for the same reason: Neither peakamp~ nor snapshot~ seem to be working in Max for Live.

Yep, had the same problem too in Max4Live. This could be a significant issue for someone encountering MAX via the tutorials

FWIW, I just ran a quick test of peakamp~ by itself, measuring a signal coming straight from plugin~ in Max4Live, with Live 9.7.1 and Max4Live 7.3.1 on MacOS 10.12.3, and it works fine.
