Guitar amp simulator
I've owned Max for almost two years now and have really only used it to edit Max For Live patches and to work through the tutorials. As a guitar player, I'm interested in using Max to process my guitar. One project I would like to start is building a guitar amp sim. There are already plenty of them out there and I use a lot of them. However, I'd like to build my own from the ground up. What would be a good place to start learning how to build a patch in Max and then translate into M4L?
There's this classic tutorial/guide in the wiki:

Although things like really detailed/authentic distortion modules are very complicated to pull off.
You can look at that wiki post to get a general idea/system going, then look at something like this to find the type(s) of distortion/saturation you want to use:

Which amounted in STKR's epic:

Thank you. Checking it out now.
