Help to configure the Audio Status
Hello,
I have the following questions about the Audio Status configuration:
If my audio interface Scarlett Solo allows the configuration of 48000 Hz of sample rate and I am using samples in Max/MSP of the same sample rate, Is it reccomended?.
Can you reccomend me the I/O Vector Size and Signal Vector Size suitables for the audio interface?. I am trying with 128/64 and it runs ok.
Finally, I set the CPU % Limit to 80, Is it ok?, What happens if I set it to 1 as it comes by default?.
Thanks in advance.
Have you checked here? These may provide some assistance:

Hello Gregory,
Thanks for reply.
I've checked both. Can I ask you a question about what is your CPU % Limit and why you use the percentage?.
Please, Can anyone answer?.
setting CPU limit lower than 100% makes only sense to give other applications more CPU resources.
At least that is what I understand.
128/64 are quite reasonable I/O settings, allowing relatively low latency for
realtime audio without too much strain.
If you have no problems leave it so, and turn cpu limiting off.
Many thanks Source Audio.
Hi,
I understand that not checking "Scheduler in overdrive" leads to a less tight timing of events.
But can it lead to "missed" events where, for instance, a midi event could not be sent out ?
old but good
maybe simplest description of overdrive and audio interrupt can be found in old max docs, NOT in new ones.
as many other details about max.
