I've been pretty obsessed with the Jean-François Charles on spectral processing with Max/MSP. I am having great results but some doubts specially about this video (link below) and the UI.

Straight to the point, how do you guys think was this video made ? is the image coming from jit.pwindow ? I can see my fft analysis in a jit.pwindow, but i would like to see a cursor line moving, just like in waveform~ or playlist~. I have all the rest of the patch working (sound processing) i just would like to have an UI like this.

This video was indeed a screencast of a jit.pwindow or jit.window. I rendered the sonogram on a GL videoplane, and superimposed a blue rectangle with jit.gl.sketch. See for instance attached patches (made for Max 5/6 - works in Max 7, but not as readable).

Thank you very much for your help and for putting all this patches together, are really instructive and a really clever and creative way of audio processing (some max 5 and 6 stuff, but great).

I'll do my best for understanding them.... again thank you
