Hovering the mouse over signal cords doesn't show values anymore

Hi,

Normally, when hovering over a patch cord, the current value be displayed. However, suddenly this doesn't work anymore for me, for the signal cords. Hovering over them has no effect (other than that they are highlighted).

I cannot find any documentation, nor settings referencing this feature. I've tried re-installing Max (8) but without any result. For now, as a work-around, I'll just put a signal monitor (number~) on cords I want to inspect, but I really liked the feature.

Did I miss a setting/short-key?
