How can I translate "metro" bangs into a trigger for Beap sequencer

Andy Fennesz's icon

I've built an extensive shuffling clock multiplier based on metro-bangs, but I discovered the Beat Gate Sequencer might be something I want to incorporate. I don't actually know what triggers the Beat Gate Sequencer because the Reference example shows it being run by the global transport. In real life modular, I would use a unipolar square LFO as a gate, or a very narrow pulse LFO as a trigger signal, but I don't know what a Beap module expects.

And whatever the Beap module expects, can I make a bang trigger it? Thanks.

Looking inside Beap Gate Sequencer there is a [>~ 2.5] followed by an [edge~] on the trigger input. So just give it an upward edge above 2.5 and you are good to go. I used a [click~] followed by a [*~ 3] and it worked a treat.
