How do I bring KOMPLETE KONTROL or REAKTOR 6 into MAX/MSP as a VST~?
I have searched the web for how to instantiate REAKTOR 6 as a VST~ in MAX/MSP to no avail. It appears that the notation in the VST~ object requires something specific. Though I have a lot of experience with MAX I am learning Native Instruments. Because I have a KOMPLETE KONTROL keyboard I think that I need a VST~ for KOMPLETE KONTROL rather than REAKTOR. Can someone please direct me how to create the VST~ object for this and how to enable it to work in conjunction with MAX/MSP. Thank you for your time in the matter.
max has vst~ object which can load that NI stuff plugin.

What is exactly the problem ?
You should maybe post which OS you use...
Excuse for my confusion. I am using OSX Monterey 12.1. Again I don't know what to write in the VST~ object box. It appears to be specific to the software you are bringing into MAX. I would like to bring in KOMPLETE KONTROL in as a VST~ but don't know how to invoke that.
taking that you installed NI software, AU and VST plugins should be available.
open vst~ help file to read about all that,
also plugin scanner etc.

Once you know the exact plugin name,
you can either type it into vst object, without vstscan, or better use plug message
which seems to be more reliable.
I am not sure if you maybe need to start max in rosetta to be able to load non m1 native plugins,
it seems NI is not native yet...
This appears a very roundabout way just to get the plugin name for the VST~ object.
Now I have that object saying: "vst~ Reaktor 6" but it doesn't appear to be bringing in
REAKTOR yet. Is there settings that need to be made in REAKTOR? On another note what is Rosetta?
I see the help file now about how to load the plugin.
Everything I needed to know was in the help file.
Thanks for steering me in the right direction.
