How do I convert a binary number to list? (Like flagmode in radio groups)

I am working on a synth editor and some of the sysex data sends a decimal number to represent the on/off states of 7 switches. I can use flagmode in radio groups to easily do this BUT a vertical list absolutely will not work in my GUI. Using the number object, I can take the sysex data and turn it into a binary number, but now I am stuck trying to turn this number into a list so I can populate the switches (now 1 object radio groups JUST so i can have a horizontal layout).

I'm hoping there's an easy way to do this. Help a brother out!
