How do I make this addictive source produce this noise without the filter.

I set up this basic additive synth to sonify certain data. I applied a basic attack and decay function that worked when I hit the bang. Now I'm trying to apply more advanced decay functions in a different program so I only want this patch to produce the tone with no filtering applied. However when I get rid of the filter no sound is produced anymore??? any advice on how to either get this patch to work with no filtering or make the filter one with exponential decay.

In the pic you can see I've detached the filter and no sound is produced. When the filter was connected I could produce the filtered tone by using the bang.
