How to change MIDI channel of a MIDI controller footswitch input (Akai APC40)

Hi all,

I recently got the Akai APC40 as I was hoping to use the footswitch input to change scenes in Ableton as part of a live rig together with a keyboard. Unfortunately, the footswitch transmits on CC 64 which ruins this plan because then the sustain pedal can't be used. It seems like it's impossible to change the midi channel of the Akai ACP40 itself.

I wondering if there is a way to do this using M4L itself? Would it be possible to change the midi channel of the footswitch input such that it leaves CC 64 free for sustain?
