I'm new to MAX and am trying to create something which is certainly more ambitious that my current skill level..

I've built a series of oscillators whose signals are manipulating video processing effects applied to a video playlist.

I want a series of quotes - which will scroll, or fade in/out, etc. - to appear over the video.

I'm having a really hard time even projecting a series of quotes onto a video screen, or *any* 'screen', though I have succeeded in outputting to the console.
