How to get the presentation mode view after saving as a Standalone .exe?

How do you build a standalone application so that when it opens it shows you the presentation mode view? I just tried building a standalone patch for the first time. After putting a lot of effort into arranging the presentation view I thought that when I opened the standalone .exe that it would show the presentation view. But what I see is a view of the patch.

Will someone please point me in the direction of where to learn how to make the user interfaces and how to build a standalone application that doesn't look like the patcher?
