How to remove "baked in" objects from sample amxd?

    The sample Audio Receiver.amxd provided via is a really helpful input stage for a crossfader patch I've been working on for a little bit. However, after using Save As to use it as a starting point, I'm having a really hard time figuring out how to remove the text and a few of the objects that seem "baked in" to the background of the patch.
    What's going on here? How can I get rid of the text?
    I've also tried selecting all and copying it to a new patch, but this creates some wonkiness with the BrowseRouting bpatcher, and doesn't copy the background paneling for presentation mode.
    edit: It also seems that adding objects to presentation mode doesn't cause the Live Device to grow to fit, which is also very odd.. is there some magic scripting going on behind the scenes here?
