Interactive Fan Project
Hello everybody
I'm currently doing a school project and desperately need your help.
Basically it's going to be a fan that responds to people's movement accordingly:
1.The speed of fan will increase/decrease according to number of people (or their movement)
2.There are some LEDs on the fan and the color of LEDs is the average of the ambient color (whatever that the camera detects)
3.The density will increase/decrease based on the number of people (or their movement)
I can handle the arduino part, but I'm an absolute beginner in Max Msp and would highly appreciate any help from you guys.
Any source, tutorial, code and etc is appreciated
Thanks a lot
(and sorry if I have posted this under the wrong section)
There's tons of source, tutorial, code and etc in the max menu > help > max tutorials, as well as in this forum.
Given your initial goals, focus on the Max tutorials. You can do everything you described without a single MSP or Jitter object.
Keep in mind that many of the tutorials on this website don't have the associated patchers that are required to make reasonable use of them. Those same tutorials + patchers are available within the Max program (as DTR mentioned.. the help menu).
