Hello,
I'm trying to have the number of the measure of a song played in Ableton Live with a M4L device.
Does it exist?
It is to send effect at the good moment of the song. Thank you

Hello.
I made the M4L with plugsync, but it doesn't work well. The tempo and the time signature of the midi file change, and I think it's why it doesn't work. I give you the midi file if you can trying something. Thanks for helping :)

Sorry I have absolutely no interest in Live,
and also can't advise you where you should send your complains about plugsync~
not following Live ruler.
plugsync~ used to work properly in any daw at the time it was part of pluggo.
Now with that joke of a sequencer - Live it does not.
plugsync~ reports elapsed bars & beats based on time signature, tempo and
elapsed raw ticks, but Live provides that info as if current tempo/time signature

was running from the song beginning, not taking into account any tempo / sig map.

What a joke ...

You should rather place whatever you mean by "good moment of the song" in timeline.

try raw ticks , and compare the output to plugsync~ bar count.

There is also option with observer stuff to get current song position,
but I have no idea how tight that is...

For linear playback from start you can make a bar counter,
using plugsync~ output of Ticks and Time Signature.

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

Thank you guys.
The last solution of "source audio" works perfectly.
I have the measure, the beat matching perfectly with time signature!
I Hill eran a lot of time, I should answer this question for a long time ago.
Thank you very much, measureless. ;)
