Hoping someone out there has had experience with this. I'm currently creating a dynamic patch using javascript to automate creation of objects and subpatchers. I want to create a spat.matrix~ object that has a diagonal configuration (i.e in 1, summed to out 1, in 2, summed to out 2 etc..).

I'm unable to set the matrix gains attribute according to a 'gains_mtx' matrix argument (1D array of gains for rows and columns) I've made in javascript. The only way I've got it to work is by putting my gains matrix argument within a message box and then connecting the message box to the spat.matrix~.control object and banging it. Unfortunately this only works for small mixer matrices because larger get truncated in the message box. Is there anyway to work around this?

1. gain_mtx_ctrl.gains(gains_mtx) (here gain_mtx is array of number [1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 ....... etc]

2. gain_mtx_ctrl.message("set", gain_mtx) (here gain_mtx is array of numbers prepended by "gains" i.e [gains 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 ....... etc])

3. gain_mtx_ctrl.message("gains",gain_mtx) (here gain_mtx is array of numbers prepended by "gains" i.e [1 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 ....... etc]

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
