I am unable to record audio from a jitter patch on my MacBook running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. Patch works fine on my iMac running Mojave 10.14.6. Both systems are running Max 8.3.1, Syphon 10.8, and Syphon Recorder version 19. I have configured both Syphon Recorder and Max to use the same virtual sound card. I have tried both Soundflower 2 and BlackHole 2ch. Works fine on the iMac, but not on the MacBook. Unfortunately I'm away and can't use the iMac. Has anyone else had a similar issue? Is there some incompatibility? Am I overlooking something so obvious?

Well-- somewhat later I discovered the problem on my laptop when recording Jitter with video / audio with Syphon Recorder: I needed to allow the "microphone" permission to access to Syphon Recorder in Setting > Security and Privacy. Problem solved!
