How do i rotate an image_surface or the transform matrix?

I'm wondering who is in charge for the jit.mgraphics object at cycling74. I posted a bug report when 6.0.3 was the current version. I didn't get a reply and in 6.0.4 it's still not working with image surfaces. Or do i miss something obvious?

I recommend you check out the JSUI-MGraphics patch a day patches.

In particular, look at the15th November entry which says "image drawing doesn't really survive the rotation process like you'd hope..." and the patch for 22nd November which says "..here is an example of using images with acceptable rotation. In order to do it, you have to actually create an image background for a surface, then use that as a rectangle fill. A little convoluted, but it allows you to use images in a warped environment..."
