    Hello Forum
i have a weird problem lately: on a basic patch with just a jit.world and a fps. gui object the freamreate playback pauses every second or so for a little while. this is a new behaviour and i dont have any clue why this is happening but it is quite annoying. any help very much appreciated
i am on windows 10 with an gforce gtx960 grafic card. greetings

Hi, Linden. Use Resource Monitor ond Windows to see which applications/processes are using your CPU. Additionally, download this utility (Latency Mon) and check if there's some driver periodically blocking the OS.

Hello Pedro, thx for your advice. i downloaded the sofware unfortunately i couldt find any process which would be a obvious reason for an interuption. the "hiccups" only seems to occur in the visual and gui domain. the audio stream is running without any problems.

Do the hiccups occur on patches with very few Max GUI elements (number boxes, sliders, etc)? And if you minimize the Max patch window and only leave the Jitter window visible? Does it still happen?

i found the error. i realized it happened to ableton as well. i started to close some programs which run in the background. the hiccup was caused by synology cloudstation which couldnt sync a file somehow. sorry for spaming the forum:)
