Keyboard shortcut for editing inlet/outlet comment? Maybe lost in Max 5?

tyler mazaika's icon

I recall long long ago, in the days of the single floating inspector window of Max 4, there was a keyboard shortcut to directly edit the comment attribute of inlets/outlets, just like there still is one for editing an object's scripting name. Maybe it was cmd-; …

If my memory isn't faulty, can we please have that back?

FWIW I always still use floating inspector window, and I know that I can select the inlet and type cmd-' , then esc, then c-o-m, then return to start editing that field. That's just too slow and error prone.
