I am working on a project that i feel would have potential uses for the Kinect. However i know nothing about how it would interact with Max.

I suppose the first question is does the Kinect work with OSX?

Secondly what external objects are used to get it to work and what sort of data can you get out of it? XYZ coordinates for example, or will it track objects like it does with the xbox.

I know there have been other threads on the Kinect but this will be my first project using any sort of video input so i got some what lost in the posts.
