Line output of function in curve mode

MAX's icon

Hello,
I would like to use the line output of the function in curve mode.
On the forum, I found the solution to put a line before the function (https://cycling74.com/forums/function-with-curve-mode-and-line-output),
but it doesn't seem possible to change and modify on the fly when the line is before.
I tried to put a curve~ after the second function output but it seems not working well. Furthermore, I would like to avoid audio to stay in the Max domain.
Someone could help ?

Thanks and best,
M

what point ?
you eiher use curve~ or line~ or both

what shoud that mean :

"Furthermore, I would like to avoid audio to stay in the Max domain."

ok, that's quite strange, the second output of the function outs nothing on my Max version....For the sentence, it means I would like to send the curve~ output to midi note number and I wanted to avoid snapshot~ to convert it.

I would say function is wrong object to trigger midi notes

Ha I used a lot to make crazy lines and arpeggios and it worked quite well. Not really accurate to trig the exact note for sure, but with quantizers behind it can be interesting. but maybe you have an other suggestion ?
in my case, do you know why the second output outs nothing ? could you send the patch you did ? if I do the same on my Max, it seems not work.
Thanks

I don't understand for what you need curve mode,
if you don't set any curves ?
