live.remote~ controlling rack macro, macro mapping overridden?

    I seem to have found an issue when controlling rack macros with live.remote~
    Adjusting the mapping ranges of effect params within the rack will change the behavior of the GUI as intended, but the sound is effected as if the mapping from the macro to the contained effect was still 0-to-127.
    seems reproducible with any live.remote~ controlling an effect rack macro on Mac OS 10.12.6, Live 9.7.4, and Max 7.3.4.
    here is a patch that grabs macro 1 of the second device in its chain with a live.remote~ and a screenshot of a gate cutting as if its threshold were closer to the middle than over the top of everything
    anyone else had this issue?

      i reportet this bug 2014 to Ableton. Seems nothing has changed. Reload the set or unmap and remamp the macro from the live.remote~, then it should work as expected.

      Thanks for the trick doubleug. Good to know that though it's a bug, it has a quick fix. Much nicer workaround than using live.object for every modulation. ^^;
