Looking for ideas/examples: climbing videos + reactive audio visuals

Hi guys, I have to prepare a live event at a climbing gym. I would like to add some reactive visuals to the music, to make the event more cool 😎
I am total newbie at Jitter, just started to watch some tutorial videos few days ago

My general idea is to play randomly small clips of climbing videos as a base layer. On top of that, I would like to add reactive visuals to the music, generative shapes/particles systems or whatever. I am not sure if it makes sense to blend these visuals with the videos (like a crossfade) or make them modify the video itself, if this is even possible. As final touch maybe some postprocessing effects like bloom etc.

Do you guys have any suggestion for examples about similar concepts (videos + reactive audio visuals)?
Also any suggestion about what devices/effects to use?
