Looking to hire a M4L developer for a custom built ableton controller
Hey there,
i am planning on having a custom built ableton controller/ipad dock thing built and will most likely need a bunch of M4L scripting to have it all integrate properly.
Basically what i want is and ipad docking station with 8 rotary knobs on top and bottom of the ipad screen and then have the parameter names & other info displayed on the ipad via touchOSC or lemur. the whole custom/automated mapping/scaling part would have to be done via m4l i think.
anybody interested in working on this hit me up so we can discuss possibilities, details, payment etc.
thanks,
paul
Hey Paul - I'm a bit of an M4L and Live API nerd. Sounds like an interesting project. What's the best way to get in touch outside of the forums?
haha looks like there is no DM feature in this forum.. let me find somehitng
ok maybe you can just shot me a mail to my spam email account and i'll try grab you from there? don't want to post my real email on a public forum obviously..
or if you have a twitter, soundcloud, whatever you feel comfortable posting where i could contact you?
oh and let me add that i start thinking this project will also involve some arduino/teensy coding for the midi controller.
Sorry to let this slip! Been traveling for a few days and haven't had a chance to check in.
I'm on twitter/IG/soundcloud/FB. Evan Bogunia/dataf1ow on most platforms.
I haven't used an arduino in years, and don't have a ton of experience in that department, so I'm not sure I can commit to being able to handle all of the coding duties as far as that goes. I'm still down to do any M4L work/consulting though.
Hey Paul,

I specialize in audio/visual application development (Windows, OSX), interactive media performances (Max/MSP/Jitter/M4L), game development (Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Unity), art installations, micro-controller systems integration (Arduino), plugin development, and mobile applications (iOS).
If you could give me more details on the technical requirements, I can give you an estimate of the work required. You can reach me at anthony.palomba at gmail.
