Hello guys, sorry if it's been asked before, but I couldn't find any answer to this with the search function.

I would like to create for fun a very simple m4l device that plays a short video loop  that stays in sync when I change the Ableton project's tempo. 

I will use a video with a rhythmical element in it, like dance moves or something, so I could roughly find a corresponding tempo for it.

I am stuck at trying to sync the playback speed rate to Live's tempo, and also lost regarding the calculations regarding the playback-speed/tempo ratio.
