Hi LLT,
If you haven't already, please provide Support with a simple patch and a set of numbered instructions regarding these two issues.
Thanks!

Yes Ben I have already made the Mar 23 12:20

Thanks LLT. Looking through our system, I see that the first issue is still an outstanding bug. I can't guarantee when a fix might be coming.
Regarding the second issue, I don't see an active ticket for it. Could you send some steps and a patch to Support again?
Best,
-Ben
Ok thank you.
LLT
Nothing about polybuffer~ ?
Here is the thread (at the end) https://cycling74.com/forums/polybuffer-public-beta-3
Hi Spip,
I don't think we were ever able to reproduce your issue.
However, I now hear the audio dropout with mp3s only. Can you confirm that? Other files like .wav and .aif seem to work fine.
There is some behind the scenes stuff that happens with mp3s that might make working around this difficult, but I'll check.

Hi
the static reference browser preference seems handy (specially for old computers like mine), but I wasn't able to find it ?
any hints ?
thanks /in advance
Regarding the static/dynamic doc switching, go to Max->Preferences->All-> and set setusedymamicdocs to '0'.
-Ben
Thanks Ben, for the reply. I'm only using AIFF files.
I was believing that my computer was a little bit old but I bought the latest macbookpro and the problem remains...
Hi Spip,
Hmm, something else must be going on, as I can't reproduce here at all. Could you send some additional info to Support and we can go from there?
- OS
- computer model
- version of Max
- audio file locations (full paths)
- audio file sizes
- audio file types
- current audio settings
- anything else that seems relevant
- simple patch
- numbered steps to repro
Thanks!
-Ben
Done !
I've just tried again with the patch of the thread and a lot of different audio files, no luck.
Thanks Spip, once we get your email, someone will definitely take a look and get back to you!
-Ben
Hi Ben. Sorry about annoying you again with static/dynamic doc stuff...
...but it doesn't appear in my max preferences window :/
neither max understands the message ";max setusedymamicdocs 0"
if it helps, I'm running on OSX 10.6.8
Hi Pinho,
Be sure that the "All" tab is selected in the Max Preferences window, and scroll down to the 'max' section, where you should see 'setusedynamicdocs'.
Also, this does work for me:
If you still don't see it, please email Support with your OS, computer model, version of Max installed, and maybe a screenshot of your prefs window showing the 'All' tab and the 'max' section.
Thanks,
-Ben
It seems as though the help file for [edge~] hasn't been fixed either...
Thanks anyway Ben, but that preference seems to be missing in my system. I'll email support...
Thanks, goingdeaf, edge~ help file will be fixed for the next one.

Re: dynamic docs. I now can see that there are some issues here with setting this preference.
I'll be sure to have it fixed up for Max 6.0.6. I apologize for the inconvenience!
-Ben
No spanish help for me is the worst bug.
It has come to our attention that there are some issues present in Max 6.0.5 that require an update.
Fixes:
• cycle~: fix for instantiation crash
• jit.window / jit.pwindow: fix for display differences with jit.gl.node
• jit.phys.picker - fix for setting filter attributes
• reference browser: re-enabled a preference for static docs (to be used if dynamic docs are slow)
The new installers are now live on the website:
Thanks again and have a great weekend!
-Ben
