They're written in Pd. Max and Pd, despite their similarities, are two entirely different programs.

I'd take a look at Holland Hopson's work, if I were you.

 object - so you're going to have to do some research. If Andy Farnell's using someone else's libraries, the text should tall you that. I'd start my search for answers there.
