Max 8.6 beta?
Hi, I'm using Max 8.6 and there's a bug that makes the application unusable for me and is stopping development of my max devices. I've submitted a bug report and was told it was sent to the devs like a month ago. Is there any place where I could download beta versions, or will I have to wait for a stable version for this bug fix?
We don't have a public beta for Max 8.6.x at this time.
I'd need more information about the bug to be able to say more...
Thank you for your reply Jeremy. It's the bug that occurs when interacting with max using a touchscreen, in the max editor instead of selecting elements when dragging a finger across the patcher window, it pans the whole view around, which makes floating patcher windows disappear, max for live devices disappear and are not usable with touch. Here's an example of the issue in Live 12:

Same very annoying bug here.
It has already been discussed in the Live 12 beta forum and a bug report has been filled
I believe that this has been addressed for the next update, so just hang on a little while longer!
