until now I was using the Max for Live License that is integrated in the Ableton Live Suite and everything just worked fine.

I just upgraded to a monthly subscription of Max and RBNO and I run into Problems.

If I open Ableton and open a device from there to see my changes in Max preview directly, there is no Link to Abletons API anymore. Its like I opened the device in Max directly and not from Ableton.

Also, when I close the devices editing, Max crashes.

Is it possible that the Link to Ableton it's not working with the subscription license but only with the Crossgrade License even though I already had a License with Ableton before?

Just in case someone encounters the same problem: a restart of my computer did the job!

Kind of embarrassing I did not try that in the first place. But this kind of error get rare these days so you forget about the simple methods. ;)
