I want to save parameters in a bpatcher (or patcher inside).  

1) When I save and recall a snapshot in the patcher including the patcher,  it doesn't work with  parameters in the batcher. It works fine with  AU plug-ins or parameters in the main patcher, when parameter mode is enabled.

2) When tried to save a snapshot in the patcher inside, it works when I edit with the opened inside patcher, but not when I save and close the inside patcher and control from the main patcher giving a "restore" message to "this patcher", it gives a error message "patcher: doesn't understand "restore"" and doesn't work.

Does anybody knows how to save parameters inside the bpatcher in a snapshot?

I work a lot on Max  for MIDI composition it is very inspiring when a simple program gives me expressive music. I searched a bit to get an object like "makenote" to play instruments like strings or organ. When many notes are turned on (velocity higher than 0), instead of choosing the duration at the time the notes are played, I needed be able to turn them off at a certain cue or a deliberate event. Here I focus on the polyphonic way to turn on notes. I solved the monophonic version of my program easily long ago. My patch is presented with a  small composition to illustrate my point of view. My question is, did I solve an already solved problem? 

If you have suggestions, I may use it for more intuitive composition tools. (This is the first submission of a patch I do on a forum, hope it works on some other computer)

  for CMake. Got stuck with the following error:

My main.cpp and CMakeLists.txt files are the same as in the tutorial and my patch is just  [cycle 440] -> [out~ 1] , although I've tried with multiple IO configurations.

 I am on Windows using Visual Studio Code.

In my former Fortran and Pascal days, I could define a function or procedure that had arguments defined in the declaration statement.

Is there any way to do something similar in Max?

Obviously, the simple way is to feed parameter values into a subpatcher via 

 objects, but I would like to be able to simply add values as arguments to a subpatcher object, like most Max objects do, if there is way to do it.

. The first parameter in the trigger gives the normal state of the 

 and the second gives the period the gate will change state for in ms.  So, the idea is that a 

 that is normaly open would close for 500ms and then reopen.

I'm wondering whether I could define the [gatedelay] object to accept arguments instead of discrete inputs, so that I could use objects like this:

My current project is pretty huge. It already has 56 maxpat files in the project list. Some of my patches are rather large and ungainly and I have thought about breaking more of them down into smaller units. However, I'm not sure if it would make my resulting executable bigger or smaller.

My question is whether, when building an executable file, is every instance of a maxpat file added to the mxf collectable file each time it is referenced as an object in a patch or does just one copy get used for all access points.

For example, I have a snippet object in a maxpat that generates a sysex message from various parameters fed into its multiple inputs.

If I use that snippet as an object ten times in a patcher, do ten copies of my snippet file get added to the parent subpatcher at each point of use, with ten copies of the code going into the mxf file, or does only one copy of the snippet file get accessed from all ten objects in the parent, with only one copy of the code added to the mxf?

I'm learning M4L and I need your help to complete this patch.

I'm building a live performance based on a Push 3 and I want to automatically trigger a scene when a backing track clip is triggered.

The goal is to avoid the boring task to match the clip length  with the master follow action length.

I have an issue with the following patch. Only the last clip of my backing track (blue) is firing the scene "Drop". 

I suspect a loop issue that erasing the first 3 live.observer is_triggered functions.

I'm linking my live12 set et my m4l patch as well.
