Wondering if anyone could help me figure this out.

Whenever I try to launch MaxMSP or Max4Live editor (from within Ableton) it crashes. Looking at the system error log seems to indicate a heap corruption error, which doesn’t really tell me much. However, I have found that everything max related works perfectly fine when my converter, the RME ADI-2 pro is turned off.

I have since tried redownloading ableton/max/the rme madiface drivers, deleting roaming folders for cycling, simply changing ableton’s audio preferences to directx… and unfortunately nothing has worked. Everything is latest version.

But deleting the drivers specified seemed to make windows think that max wasn’t fully installed and windows entered a “fatal installation error”. Great!

I’ve already contacted support about this, but it’s the weekend and I’d like to get some help before Monday! Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or has run into this issue themselves.
