Max for Live LFO does not work with 2 envelope parameters?

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has run in to this problem. I'm trying to use the basic LFO that comes with Max for Live to modulate a high-pass EQ filter. When doing this, I used envelopes to change the Rate and Depth of the LFO over time. When playing the clip in Live, this works just fine usually (but more on that later). When I export the clip to audio, it sounds to me like one of the parameters (either Depth of Rate) is not working.

The second related problem is that while trying to troubleshoot this, I closed and opened Live a few times, and later found that the Depth and Rate envelopes had become nearly non-functional, even though I hadn't changed any of the automation at all. Instead of varying the Depth and Rate widely, as I had intended, the automation became nearly imperceptible (but still there), as if it was now a fraction of what it had been before. The odd thing is that none of the automation points had changed, and still (in theory) should have worked just fine.

I'm baffled. Like, entirely. No idea why this isn't working. Any ideas?
