Max keeps asking for password

Hello!

I'm having a small problem with my Max. For some reason it keeps on asking for my login even though i have logged in many times during the last two days.

I am running 7.3.4 32-bit Max on Win10 enterprise

I wonder what could be the problem?

Too bad, sometimes I have some drawbacks too.
When one acquires Max 7 it does it reading the following thing:
"Own Max 7 forever, no restrictions" ...
I think and I ask myself: is this statement true?
It does not depend on whether there is a server running somewhere forever?
And if I want to use Max 7 in 2035, just like today I can use Cubase in my old Atari ST and my old JUNO?
Will there be forever a server with the database of users and passwords?

While I don't know your specific situation, it's um... quite often the case that someone who talks about this has hit their authorization limit. Max allows up to 3 activations at once as long as only one machine is being actively used for editing patches at any given time. A 4th activation works on a single session basis on any machine, and behaves as you describe. You might want to have a look at how many machines you've attempted to authorize Max on.

Just sayin'.

Was thinking about the same thing. I just didn't know how to check how many auths i have going. I only have two computers that i'm using now but might have some old laptop there....

Now i have two authorizations. Had it on a laptop i dont necessarily need Max on. I uninstalled it and i hope the authorization on this machine, which is the main one i use, works. Thanks for the help!
