MAX MSP | AUDIO OUT

Hello everyone,

Im still learning Max and understand how to utilize Noteout to use Midi inside Abelton, but I have been trying to understand how to route just Audio from Max into Abelton and everywhere I look, its either using something like Loopback or Soundflower?

I have both applications set up with the same Audio Interface, but still no signal ? My goal is to record different patches into Abelton where I can further process and arrange them.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Audio interface has nothing to do with routing audio between applications.

one example :

set Max833.app as output.

in live

Why don't you record audio in Max and import it into ableton,

if setting interapplication audio system is too complicated for you ?

I'll look into the above, originally I was just thinking of using the sfrecord object and then importing the recordings into abelton, but was looking for a more efficient way to directly record them into the daw. I was fiddling with M4L but couldn't access Gen ~ and later found out that I would need to go through Max, so that's what prompted my journey.
