Time to (try to) update app store apps in Max 8.1.3

All mxo files now have a bundle identifier (in the plist), this saves loads of time having to manually add them

But the msp bundle identifiers contain the ~ so the will not be allowed. They apparently need to be manually changed

Also, underscores are not allowed anywhere so the old hack of changing it to a hyphen no longer works since it will fail gatekeeper if you alter it in any way. I tried altering it in the Max version but that kills the whole app. This affects ad_coreaudio and ad_portadio, among others

The sum of all this is that until the problem with the underscore is fixed, it is not possible to submit to App store using Max 8.1.3. I just submitted an update using 8.0.8 though. 

The process for making ad hoc apps downloadable require both codesigning and notarization. These should both be done in command line.

You will need to build your app including all externals in the standalone object but then you need to include this line in the script when you build your app (it pops up after you select "Build application" in the file menu.)

This makes your app read all the .mxo files from its own bundle. I'm not sure exactly of how this works, but apparently if you do not run this script, the mxo files will be loaded from another directory. Therefore, codesigning with --deep will not sign these files.

You will need to manually go in and codesign every .mxo file. Then, after this, you codesign the entire app. 

You will need to enable the --runtime flag to build in hardened mode.

You can then pack your app in a DMG packing program and notarize it through command line. After this, the app should be able to be distributed and run on any version of macOS after 10.12, up to and including the latest Catalina. I have tested this.
