Is there a way to have the files in the max-startup folder placed in an external folder like a package in the /User/Documents/Max 7 folder maybe?

If possible I would'nt have to secure that I have moved the files before an upgrade.

One way is to turn on 'restore windows on launch' in the preferences, unset the 'disable workspace' attribute for the patchers you want to open at startup, and set the attribute for all other patches.

I hope there is another way, max-startup was so easy!
